on being a recluse..
i hate people. not so much specific people, just in general. this of course has been getting worse and worse as the years go by and innocence turns corrupt and all that. it’s really depressing, because i give little to no thought with just completely cutting off contact from people who were very close to me, or otherwise. i turn to dark corners in my head, and happier times when i was social, more outgoing. shit. i used to scream very offensive lyrics at the top of my lungs in public without thinking twice. now i avoid “public” at pretty much all costs. it’s just saddening to step outside this downward spiral of not leaving my house, not talking to anyone, not really doing anything at all.. see where i was, where (i thought) i was going, and where i am now. this self-loathing anxiety stricken individual was not what i had in mind.
how can this be fixed? get the fuck over myself and pick up the phone. so what we haven’t talked in forever? who cares about that dumb shit all those years ago? kids will be kids. unfortunately it’s easier said than done.

I am a rape victim.. and it’s not my fault.
knowing and believing this is the first step towards healing. i’ve put myself through hell both physically and psychologically since the incident. and it’s time for it to end. victim blaming is wrong, even if you blame yourself. i didn’t ask to be violated, i was convinced, at 12, by a 16 year old. there’s a lot of shame that comes with this and i will not let it bring me down any longer.
